Villamartin/Verdemar is an area in an excellent location being very close to three main golf courses and only ten minutes drive to superb sandy beaches. The Villamartin area has very good local amenities, including a wide range of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and banks etc. 8km away is the lively fishing port of Torrevieja with its impressive new promenade, marina and open air markets. Cosmopolitan Alicante is a 45 minute drive away. Water and theme parks are also within easy reach.

Situated on the popular Verdemar urbanisation at Villamartin this is a 2 bedroom ground floor bungalow type property. The front of the property has a nice terrace for al fresco dining. The American style kitchen includes a utility room with washing machine as well as all the usual appliances and sufficient crockery and cookware. It has two twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. The bathroom is fully tiled with sink, mirror, toilet, and bath with shower over. Air con, hot/cold, is available on a meter if needed, costs met by guests.
The pool is a three minute walk away. It is set on two levels. The upper level has a small waterfall which allows water to drop from the upper pool to the lower pool. Sunbeds are provided around the pool area and there are also toilets provided. The childrens pool is on the upper level and is segregated from the main pool. A lifeguard is on duty throughout the summer months. All pool rules apply.
The nearby impressive Villamartin Plaza (twenty min walk or five min drive)contains over 20 restaurants varying from Italian, English, German, Spanish, Mexican, Austrian, Chinese, and French cuisine to name but a few, and these serve food both indoors and outside in the summer months in the delightful courtyard.
The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor, about ten minutes drive away. All of these beaches and all the other major beaches along this part of the Mediterranean coastline are regularly awarded the European Blue Flag which is your guarantee of high standards and facilities for the whole family.
Local shops, bars, restaurants and banks are within walking distance. There is a large supermarket five minutes walk from the bungalow. The Commercial Centre at La Fuente is only ten minutes walk away. The golf courses of Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin are close by.
Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in Europe which opened on 25 September 2012, is a five minute drive away. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village, with various “town squares” such as Plaza London Square or Plaza Mayor linked by “streets” lined with shops of every description.
The centre accommodates popular national, international and local brands such as the hypermarket Alcampo, Leroy Merlin, Tenpin bowling, Primark, Inditex with Zara and their other trademarks H&M, C&A, Deichmann, Guess, Geox, Swarovski, Punto Roma, Muerde la Pasta, Kiko, Druni and Marvimundo. There is a Casino there and childrens play areas.
All beds will be freshly made up for your arrival and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels. A car is not essential but recommended if you want to further explore the area.
