The cool spacious lounge/dining area is tastefully furnished with quality leather sofas and is equipped with a TV picking up local spanish channels (subject to availability) a DVD player, a Hi-Fi and a CD player (so bring your favourite discs from home). One of the double bedrooms is located on the ground floor. Upstairs takes you to two more tastefully furnished double bedrooms, all with UK size double beds and modern furniture throughout. There is a downstairs shower-room with a toilet, whilst upstairs there is a full bathroom with toilet, bath and bidet. There is a hairdryer supplied in the shower room for your use.
Leading to the outside of the property, there is a good-size private solarium (roof terrace) with sun loungers and patio furniture, to enable you to experience the typical alfresco dining which the Mediterranean is so famous for. Here on the roof terrace you can relax and soak up the sun all day long. In addition to the roof terrace there is an attractive front porch area for sipping evening drinks and chatting about your day!
The focal point of this peaceful residential complex is the wonderful large swimming pool, surrounded by a communal garden area. There is a private car park and payphone just yards away so you can easily keep in touch with the folks back home! Situated close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and all facilities this villa is ideally located for a relaxing holiday.
The local commercial complexes of Via Park V, Via Park III, The Emerald Isle (with it’s huge swimming pool, restaurant and competition level green bowls) and La Florida offer a huge variety of bars and restaurants which are all within a five to ten minute walk away, with a much larger selection (including the town of Torrevieja) just 10 mins drive away. The closest supermarket is approximately 10 mins walk from the property. Nearby Playa Flamenca consists of a largely British residential area and offers a good selection of restaurants and bars to suite all tastes and age groups. There is a very popular street market held on Saturdays from 8.am till approx 2.pm which sells a wide variety of Souvenirs, Leather goods, Clothes, Pottery, and fresh Fruit & Veg. The villa is just a five minute drive from the superb blue-flag beaches of Playa Flamenca, Le Zenia and many more glorious beaches.
This complex is an ideal base for either pool paddlers, beach babes or golfers alike, with it being also just a short drive from the 'golf-triangle' of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, with more golf courses within a 30 minutes drive. This is a superb central base from which you can enjoy this wonderful region of southern Spain and conveniently situated less than 30 mins from Murcia airport and just 45 minutes from Alicante airport.
The historic town of Murcia, plus the amazing Mar Menor and La Manga are less than half an hour away by car to the south. Driving northwards into Torrevieja, you will find no end of attractions including a cinema, a 10 pin bowling alley, water-park, resident funfair, endless shopping opportunities and an array of restaurants and bars. For those of you still young at heart, there is one of the world famous Pacha nightclubs. Torrevieja provides plenty of entertainment suitable for all age groups whilst still retaining Torrevieja's original charm as a fishing village. Slightly further north you will find more historic towns such as Elche and Alicante.
