Horizonte is a development located on the Orihuela Costa,in the region of Playa Flamenca centrally located for tourism in the south of the province of Alicante, located on the Costa Blanca. This area has a "Micro Climate" – More sun, and clear days than most areas of Spain. The largest, established nearest town is Torrevieja ( only 5km from Horizonte – Playa Flamenca ) There are two airports you can fly into, Alicante to the north and San Javier, Murcia to the south.
There are more than 20 km of coastline containing six large beaches on the Costa Blanca– Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima, La Zenia, Los Locos, El Cura, and Los Náufragos - and over 20 spectacular coves with an abundance of cliffs.
This area offers a wide range of shopping opportunities. There are more than 2, 500 shops, numerous sports clubs, sports facilities, schools, hospitals and the great shopping centres - La Zenia Boulevard and Las Habaneras are two of the biggest in the area.
Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in Europe which opened on 25 September 2012, is 25 minute walk away. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village, with various "town squares" such as Plaza London Square or Plaza Mayor linked by "streets" lined with shops of every description.

Carrefour is a 10 min walk , Lidl a 5 min walk and the famous Playa Flamenca market is also a ten min walk. Car hire is not essential.

A booking deposit
of 20% is required to reserve and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before
arrival. Changeover days are negotiable depending on existing reservations,
midweek bookings accepted. Any evidence of smoking anywhere within the
property will result in the forfeit of the damage deposit. Car hire is
not essential, airport transfers can be arranged from either Murcia or
Alicante airport. A damage and key deposit of £100/150euros is required
and will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the property. Payment
may be made by personal cheque or by bank transfer, however, if you prefer
we can offer secure credit card payments.
NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE PROPERTY. Smoking on the terrace only, please
owner reserves the right to decline bookings of single sex groups but
they may be considered in some circumstances with prior consent of the
owner. It is preferable the lead party member is over 25 years of age,
if they are not, again with prior consent of the owner, a booking can
be made with a parental guarantor signed contract
